Terms

The rules of the road

TODO(copy): write the deal in plain English — what someone is agreeing to by using this, and what you owe them back. Written to be read, not to be defensible.

What this is, and what it is not

State the boundary before anything else. If the product records money without moving it, say so: not a bank, not a payment service, not a party to anything between two other people.

Your account

You sign in with your Sneat account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself — you're responsible for what happens under your account, and you can leave whenever you like and take your data with you.

Fair use

Don't use it for anything illegal, and don't abuse it. Say what would get an account suspended, in the words you'd actually use.

No warranties, and things change

It's provided as-is. Say plainly that it can be wrong or unavailable, that features may change, and that you'll flag material changes to these terms rather than quietly swapping the page.

This is an early page

This product is in active development, and these terms will grow into a fuller agreement as it launches. They deliberately carry no legal entity, jurisdiction or liability clauses yet — those need a real entity and a lawyer, not a template. Questions in the meantime? Reach us via the Sneat platform.
